We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who can supervise technicians, coordinate projects, ensure job quality, and set a positive, professional standard for the team. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership abilities, excellent technical knowledge, and the desire to take responsibility for daily operations in the field.
Lead, supervise, and support a team of low-voltage/security technicians
Plan, assign, and oversee daily work tasks and job schedules
Assist with installations, troubleshooting, and service calls when needed
Ensure all work meets company standards, safety guidelines, and client expectations
Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress and quality
Train new technicians on procedures, tools, and equipment
Communicate professionally with customers and resolve issues on-site
Report project progress and team performance to management
Maintain inventory control of equipment and tools
Help streamline workflow and improve operational efficiency
Minimum 2–3 years experience in security systems or low-voltage installations
Previous experience in a supervisor or lead technician role preferred
Strong technical knowledge of:
CCTV/IP cameras
Alarm systems
Access control
Wiring, cabling, and networking basics
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Valid G driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Must pass a criminal background check
Experience with brands like DSC, Honeywell, Hikvision, Dahua, Ubiquiti, etc.
Project coordination or job site management experience
WHMIS, Working at Heights, or other safety training
Ability to train staff on new technologies
